Podcasts and Podcasting

In the last 2 years, I have been working on different podcast projects. Among them are Write Here Write Now and The Postgrad Wave. Currently, I am working on a new project called The Americanista.

The Americanista

In The Americanista, together with my friend and colleague Sarah McCreedy, I am exploring the importance, role and works of prominent female scholars, writers and activists in the broad field of American Studies. Our aim is not only to highlight the outstanding work of women in academia (in the past and the present), but also to make content and people accessible and approachable for students of this field.

The Postgrad Wave

It is a space for postgraduate students across schools and disciplines to share content and develop stronger communication skills while disseminating their research and engaging in both academic and non-academic conversations with more experienced researchers and colleagues.

Each episode combines interviews with different postgrad and early career researchers, news and music.

Write Here, Write Now is a high-quality six-part podcast series, which was funded by the Broadcasting Authority Ireland (BAI). The series offers college students an accessible yet entertaining introduction to common issues that they might experience in academic communication. Write Here, Write Now focuses on the most frequent issues encountered in their written assignments in a portable and, most importantly, easily digestible format. Each of the six episodes deals with one academic writing skill and offers students helpful tips and advice for improving their own academic writing.
